报告简介The subject areas to be presented can be described with Optical Wireless, Energy Harvesting Circuits and Power Efficiency. When Optical-Electro Hybrid Technique is employed in a power and information transfer system, improved power efficiency could be achieved. Wide band gap electronics have the potential to futureproof optical-electro hybrid circuits using multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology. These advanced techniques continue to attract growing interests in emerging technologies includes power supplies and monitoring in mobile devices, green technology, high-speed information system. The performance of MIMO systems can be shown to degrade when, for example, severe correlations present between transmitter and receiver antennas. The advantages and working mechanism of MIMO and an Optical-Electro Hybrid system are presented.

报告人简介Mingbo Niu,加拿大奥克那根学院电子工程学教授,北美洲ASEEIEEE学会成员,是国际知名的无线光通信、压缩感知网络和电子微控制专家。主要研究方向为模拟、数字通信及电路,微控制器,压缩感知系统,无线能量获取等。已在顶级期刊发表论文20余篇,包括IEEE Transactions on Communications, Optics Express等世界知名期刊的论文,担任IEEE VTC等著名国际会议多天线系统的技术委员会委员。
